- E Series turbine reaches 1 million kWhs for the first time
Kansas – On March 27, 2015, our E3120 reached another great milestone! The E3120 installed at Greensburg High School in Greensburg, Kansas reached 1,00,000 kWhs – this is the first E3120 in our global fleet to do so. The turbine was commissioned on May 3, 2010.
The town of Greensburg was completely wiped out after being hit by a class 5 tornado in 2007. In order to rebuild, Greensburg set out a mandate to “rebuild stronger, better, and greener!” That’s where Endurance got involved. We have a handful of E3120 installs in Greensburg including at the local hospital, and another at a Best Western hotel. These turbines were among some of the first E3120’s every installed.
