Vancouver – We reached a new milestone in our history on December 10, 2014, our assembly team at the Canadian head office built our 1000th wind turbine.
We shipped our very first turbine in 2007, from a small factory outside Vancouver, Canada. Since then, we’ve established a new, much larger facility and opened a major manufacturing plant not far from Birmingham. We’ve also added engineering design offices in Denmark and a certified wind turbine testing site in Utah.
It took eight years and 1,000 turbines to get us here. Along the way, we’ve gone from one design to seven amounting to over 15 million operational hours. Quite an achievement!
