Endurance Wind Power CEO wins 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year

At Ernst & Young’s celebration of the 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year, it was announced that Glenn Johnson, had won the coveted 2013 Pacific title.

“This award goes to the folks at Endurance who have worked so hard to make this happen. We’ve had some stunning successes and we’re ready for more. I feel honoured to be part of such an incredible group of people,” said Glenn Johnson after receiving the award.”

Glenn has led Endurance to accelerated growth and success since the company’s inception on 2007. Over this time Endurance has grown from a small prototype-based company to a world leader in distributed wind turbines. Glenn’s passion and vision are evident in the culture at Endurance and he is especially proud of the over 40 per cent employee ownership of Endurance. Glenn has made his way as an entrepreneur from a young age and he has always emphasized that it is the strength of the team around him that make the difference.

In addition to the top regional award for Entrepreneur of the year Glenn also received the 2013 Pacific EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Clean Tech category.
