In Nova Scotia, cooperatives are eligible to participate in the provincial COMFIT program, provided they meet the necessary requirements.

David Morgan, a farmer, that owns Pockthorpe Farm uses an extensive amount of electricity to run operations on the farm. David says,“We are big energy users … reducing our reliance on energy by implementing a turbine and saving on future electricity costs seemed like a good idea.”
